What's new? Let's see, this week has been pretty uneventful, minus BOSMUN which was Friday and Sturday, due to the impending snow at the time. It was pretty fun while it lasted, minus the fact that I did horrible once more and Courtney didn't get an award she totally deserved. I made several friends and learned (the hard way) that Asian chairs tend to hate me. Oh yeah and I almost slept with Palumbo.
As probably everyone else is, I keep getting stupid letters from colleges. And mostly ones I have no interest in whatevoever. Rather than just ripping them up, they inspired me to look around a little online, figure out my actual GPA without honors credit and on a 4.0 scale (3.3 ish...not very good), and see what places may accept me in two years- Precisely what I've been trying to avoid, I know, but I just couldn't help it. Yeah so so far places that are looking good are Northeastern, Quinnipiac, Fordham (which I will not get into, but who's counting?), and Emerson (same thing) But who knows, because for all I know I'll end up at RIC or URI, although I doubt it. I tend to change my mind a lot lately. Whatever.
Yeah so I am pretty much sick of school as of now, biding my time until summer, a job I will hopefully apply for and get within the next month to have all summer, getting a lisence, and just basically chilling out for a while. Unfortunately the third quarter has just begun, and therefore I have a long while til there. Coming up soon are the AP history exam (Yeah, ok), Cesca winning CHSW Idol!, and the dreaded lacrosse tryouts (70 girls for 25-30 spots! I don't have a shot in the dark) which I plan on busting my ass at in hopes of making Varsity. Fat chance. Oh yeah and Jones is giving editor-in-chief position to Lauren (whom I love and so this is nothing personal) b/c of my involvement in other things at school... can you say hard work for NOTHING? I've tried my best in the past couple of days to give him a hard time about it (indirectly, of course) through acting extremely lazy, reading in class today when I could have done one of seventeen things that need to be done before vacation, and talking back more than usual. I don't think it's working though; he just seems concerned. Haha
But, of course, in good news (Oh yes, news) there is vacation coming up in two days, and Lindsay and I will have a great time doing um-nothing!? I like that thought. By the way, leave your address so I can send you all postcards if I have time. Which I will- seven frigin days worth! :)
