Dearest family,

Well this week has been fine. I never told you, but I got transferred. Yeah! I know! Buuuuuut the thing is I'm still in the office, I just have a new area. I basically took the old financial secretary's spot in his area, San Ramon. So thats where I am now and I'm happy to be there. My new companion is from Guatemala and is going home at the end of these transfers. Luckily he's still working hard, and I'm going to keep pushing him and helping him to make sure he doesn't get baggy. It's going really well though.

So this is the week of Thanksgiving, huh? I'm excited. I think I'm going to have to settle for chicken this year instead of turkey, which is fine, but the good thing is that Jana totally hooked me up with banana bread mix and stove top stuffing!!! So I can really have a Thanksgiving style feast! And I'm also going to buy a pie today that I'm going to eat with Elder Huntsman, the Alaskan missionary (and my old companion). I am very excited. Thank you Jana!!! I was so happy to get that package and see all the pictures of your wedding and get fat while doing it. You're wedding looked just darling (can a 20 year old male use the ward darling and get away with it?) and you looked just beautiful! I could hardly believe those pictures of ME in front of the TEMPLE. That makes me laugh that I have been a cardboard cut out. Shawn, if you feel too embarassed to use it at your wedding, I would understand completely. Anyway, I'm excited for my feast, and even more excited because you have all helped contribute to it in some way. It'll be a family experience, despite the physical separation.

I only have 8 more months of missionary work left. That kind of blows my mind. I've kind of come to the point though where I'm content here. I've been at this point for a long time now, but I just feel like... I don't care to go home, nor do I care to stay here forever. I don't know. It's kind of hard to explain. Buuuuuuut I am happy to be here and still working hard, not hardly working.

My journal has been pretty boring lately. Nothing too exciting has happened recently.

There was a mini earthquake here the other day. It was really small and insignificant, but I don't have very much else to say right now.

I was going to finally get my drivers license, but I don't have a current residency card. My card is a provisional, which means that it is my card until the REAL card is made there in the immigration building. It's temporary. And the temporary card doesn't work to get your license. So I'm still licenseless, but queme. Que me freaking importa. Sorry, I still need to clean up some of my language. ;) lol

Thanks for everything, guys! You're all just gems. And peaches. Oh man I love peach cobbler. But applecrisp is better, especially when its hot and has good vanilla ice cream on top.

Love ya boo ya,

Andrew
