Andrew was transferred to a new area last week.
So first of offs, my new area is BOMB.COM sweet money galore yeahhhhh i love
it. so thats the first good news. second good news is so far i get along pretty
well with my companion. and my ward is really awesome too. its a really big
difference from zacatecoluca, and i love it. my area is a lot like taking a
little bit of a telenovela, the jungle book, and los angeles, and mixing it all
together... with a dash of swiss family robinson. its hard to explain, but its
pretty sweet. i like it a lot. plus the members are A LOT more alegre and happy
and cheerful and willing to work with us. it makes a big difference.
so yeah. thats good. plus elder moreno is in my zone again, and its always
really really really good and fun to talk him about life and the mission and
such. it helps a lot to have a friend out here, even if its only once a week.
this week was the real madrid vs barcelona game... so for 3 hours everybody was
in watching the game. i think im for barcelona, especially now that real madrid
doesnt have david beckham... but i dunno, i dont really know a whole lot. all i
know is that theres a lot of rivalry, and i expect each one of you to study the
teams, watch a few games, and take a side by the time i get home.
what else... i dunno. you can tell the difference out here between being far
away from the city and close. its a lot more hardxcore gangsta out here, and
apparently like a month again 4 people got shot in my area. booya! but im not
scared. we take a lot of buses in my area, and sometimes we have to cross the
freeway! i feel a lot like those signs down near tijuana that have the family
crossing the freeway and the little girl is flying through the air... but i
digress. i just hope i dont die. but really dont be worried. its not as
dangerous as everybody says it is, and i dont think ive ever really seen a gang
member out here yet. plus they respect the missionaries.
anyway.
i dont really have anything too much else to say right now, and id like to get
some personal emails written. oh yeah, my house is pink. and filthy. shoot. and
i didnt shave today and i have a total beard and i feel a little weird and
hairy. oops. we had to leave early though and i didnt have any time. whatevs.
