In weekend-news, Kira, Harakol, Laura, Krista and I went out to see American Gangster. Unfortunately, halfway through something came up so I missed 40 minutes but got back for the last half hour. FYI, you really only need to see the first half hour and the last, just in case a two hour movie doesn't fit into your time schedule. It was good, I like Denzel Washington. I had never met Laura or Krista before, so there was the whole awkward I-don't-know-you-but-I'll-stand-here-and-smile-nervously thing going on. Normally I don't clam up around new people, but even Harakol and Kira weren't talking much, so I felt like if I talked I was just trying to fill up silence. Eventually we all warmed up to each other and sat at Denny's until one in the morning. Laura's really nice (and cute), she's intellectual and all that jazz, but kind of soft spoken. Krysta didn't say anything. I can't figure out why, but she wasn't very responsive, even when we referred to her or asked her things. Otherwise everything was awesome. We went to Harakol's, stayed a while, and I went to work shortly after. YAY! FIVE O'CLOCK SHIFT! Currently we're supposed to come in at five, leave at seven, and then come back at 10:30. It's really strange.
