The flight to Phoenix on Saturday was mundane, but from Phoenix to Denver was a completely different story. The guy sitting to my right, John, was entertaining to say the least. He was returning from a trip to Mexico and he works in Denver as a school administrator. So after discussing the school systems and whatnot in the different counties, we started straying further and further from the absolute-stranger-type-small-talk and ran into politics, family dynamics, et cetera. He mentions that he's gay (he definitely did not come up on my gaydar) and starts telling me all of these crazy stories - what a trip. He's hilarious though, and very knowledgeable. He ended up giving me his card and told me to call him up whenever I'm in Denver so that we can get dinner together at an Ethiopian restaurant near his place. I'm definitely going to take him up on the offer if I'm in the area.

Anyway, I stopped into Eagle today because I wanted to apply at Pazzo's, and ended up hanging out with Marshall for a few hours. We haven't seen each other in a while, so it was nice. Plus it pretty much looks like I already got the job. On top of that Marshall expressed interest in getting a place in Avon and asked if I wanted to be his roommate - why yes, I do. I'm not sure when he's planning all of this to happen, but I think it'd be great. Especially in Avon. Winter's going to be a blast this year, even if I do spend it all working. I'm thinking about maybe moving into Denver after the winter season's over up here. . . but I don't know. I'll see.
