Don't Forget, my little lemmings...

The State of the Union is on this evening.

Now I know listening to him speak makes the skin on everyone's butt cheeks crawl, but its your duty to your country.

Plus you have so much more ammo to make fun of him with if you actually listen to the speech.

Why watch it when you can just read the transcripts later?

Because then you can't see people yawn or roll their eyes.... and you really can't get the feeling of what a complete and utterly bad public speaker he is... its not the same, man. Its not the same.

Be patriotic and watch it already.

Actually, I've finally given into the pressures of Lawrence and I realize that "Patriotism" is exactly what's wrong with America! Too many sheeple falling in line with the generic definition of "patriotism"! If you REALLY cared for the country, man, you'd not fall in line and have anything to do with the illegal entity that is the GOVERNMENT, man! You wouldn't watch the puppet for the bourgeoisie spew more lies as he sends our fellow proletariat out to die in order to increase his profits! You'd spend time helping plot peaceful disobedience to that warmonger, not listen to his lies!

Viva La Revoltion!

...why do I suddenly feel like I'm in the middle of "Les Miserables"?

... or the South Park movie... take your pick.

Because you've been brainwashed by giant corporations to think only in "pop culture" references. You see, they don't want you to be a free thinking individual because then you'd see through their lies and embrace true freedom.

The freedom from giant soul killing corporations.

The freedom from money, and all the evils it brings.

The freedom of any sort of structured society that tells you how to think and how to react.

The freedom to be an idividual.

The freedom to be yourself.

This coming from the man who goes and watches professional wrestling, got a spiderman drawing board for Christmas, is addicted to anything having to do with Star Wars, and whose entire house is decorated in pop culture products... need I mention the ode to Ninja Turtle Weapons hanging in your living room?

Spare me your lecture on freedom to be myself...

Hey, a guy can change. And who better to listen to? Someone who has only heard of the challenge it takes to see the lies of society? Or someone who has worked through it all and knows the dificulties?

You're right.

I was blind, but now I see... the light. And its you. You are my beacon in the darkness...

How will I ever repay you for what you have shown me?
