third semester is over. if all goes according to plan, only four more semesters.
I can do it.
things to look forward to in the next semester:
- finishing the final edits of the smiling game (what used to be titled "dining with charlie")
- getting published (I WILL MAKE IT HAPPEN)
- yoga, native american history, american lit, children's lit (harry potter and judy blume, haha), sociology of sex and gender and "family and relationships"
- more work
- more time with my ugglove
- lots of writing ♥
- GOD
my ugglove gave me a "warm fuzzy" christmas, inspired by my high school peer leadership days. this is why I love him, basically.
in his own words, "I was trying to think of what a writer needs, and I always picture writers drinking something hot and wrapped up in a blanket. so I got you green tea and something to make it in, and I made you a blanket."

is there any wonder why I love this man?
I need to stop going back and re-reading all of my old livejournals. it's vaguely unhealthy.
I go back to san bernardino on tuesday, and I'm not coming back until the following monday. if all goes according to plan, I'll have hung out with my family, my friends, and acquired a learner's permit to drive (finally!).
2008 was a good year. 2009 will be even better.
