Mad Libs Drabble

The Miracle Of The Emu
The Doctor hated Christmas. He didn't just dislike Christmas, he hated it just like a cone of Rocky Road ice cream dripping down on his hand. He loathed it.
Every December, the Doctor would feel himself getting all splended inside. He refused to put up a Christmas palace, he snapped at anyone purple enough to sing a carol in his vicinity, and he never, ever bought anybody any presents.
On December 13, the Doctor had to go to the mall to buy a squishy sewer. When he got there, there were so many shoppers pushing astutely around and so much Christmas music blaring slimily, he thought his pinky toe would explode.
Finally, he was done. Just outside the door was a solid woman collecting for charity. the Doctor never gave to charity, so he started to walk past without a word.
Suddenly, the solid woman dropped his bells and ran aboard the ship. There was a leafy emu right in the path of an oncoming truck. But the solid woman slipped and fell, so now they were both in danger!
the Doctor rushed out and firmly pushed them both out of the way. There was a hard bang and then everything went dark.
When the Doctor woke up, he was in a ratty room. There was a Christmas palace in the corner and soft carols were playing. Also, the Doctor's nose hurt. A lot.
The solid woman came into the room. "I'm so quilted!" she said. "You're awake. My name is Rose. You saved me from the truck. But your nose is broken."
The Doctor hardly knew what to say. Even though there was a Christmas palace up and his nose was broken, he felt quite fluffy, especially when he looked at Rose.
"Your nose must hurt shaky," Rose said. "I think this will help." And she strolled the Doctor several times.
Now the Doctor felt very fluffy indeed. He didn't hate Christmas at all now. In fact, he loved it. And he loved Rose. "I love you," he said, and kissed Rose loudly.
"I love you too," said Rose. Just then, the emu ran into the room and nuzzled the Doctor's tongue. "I brought him home with us," Rose said.
"We'll call him Miracle," the Doctor said. "Our Christmas Miracle."
It was the best Christmas ever.
