All about my day

Sep 13, 2011 19:58

breakfast: bacon, egg, tomato
lunch: cheese, carrots, left over hamburger, onion
dinner: bbq chicken stuffed with lemons smoked with the chicken woodchips, steamed carrots and brussells sprouts.

Mood: productive but omg the weeping. I was fine and very productive all morning, and then I went to my physio. I asked him about the ibuprofen. When I stopped taking it, I was in so much pain and developed a three day headache. He said he wanted me to stop using it gradually. So stay at 3 x 2 a day for five more days, then go down to 2 x 2 a day for five days, and then go down to 1 x 2 for five days, and then go down to 2 every second day. I realised that my neck and shoulder problems aren't going to go away. I said 'I thought I'd be OK by now,' and he said yeah, a lot of people do. He said I might have problems for months, and that I will have 'good' days and 'bad' days. I cried.

I came home, and cried a bit more, but mostly did lots of work with Scrivener on Book 1. Book 1's suddenly a managable thing again, which is AWESOME. So Much Love.

My neck and shoulders were seizing up again and so I took some panadol on top of the nurofen, and my weigh in tonight is up a kilo. I bawled like a baby over John, saying how unfair this all is, I didn't even hit the other guy and it's totally not my fault and here I am taking drugs that interfere with weight loss and water retention and constipation and I haven't been coping properly and bawl bawl bawl.

Whitman's Sampler: I suggested, mid-bawl, that we open it and eat ourselves silly. John said "Mmm... no." and I was glad, because I don't really want to eat it. I just like having it there so I can deny myself. I've always been this kind of twisted.

So yeah. Despite being seriously productive, I just want this month over. Preferably without Claude's car crashing into mine. I wish my body would lose weight easier, and I wish I wasn't sick and sore and stiff from this and my knee. (Though my knee is getting much better.) I hate this. My back is out of kilter, I hate the headaches, and I want to get back into the wiifit. At any rate, it looks like I might be getting into the gym instead, which will be rather cool.

every day
