(no subject)
I've been thinking all day/week how much I'm looking forward to being in CA so I can sit down and do some solid, focused work on my thesis. So much time at school gets spent doing events/activities/socializing; it's really hard to find blocks of time to work. When did this transition occur-- when did vacations at home become the where I (plan to) do schoolwork, and school the place where I spend my time socializing and having fun?
I had a bunch of other things I was going to write, but they all seem kind of random and trivial at this moment. I will simply say that biking in sub-freezing weather is interesting, that I hate hormones, that I want warmer socks for Christmas, and that being locked out of your room because of fire inspectors blows.
