Ghost Protocol

So I saw the new Mission Impossible movie in IMAX, which was so awesome, I can't even describe. The thing is, I got home and immediately wanted to read some fanfiction. But there wasn't any, of course, because it was the first day it was out, it wasn't even in regular theaters yet. So I waited, and went to see it again, and came home, again, and looked for some fic, because surely, a week in to showing it in regular theaters there would be something. How fast did the Inception fandom explode? Mission Impossible Ghost Protocol would be like that, of course, because it was awesome.

Except it wasn't. There's nothing. A couple of little ones on ff.net, but that was all. There wasn't even a community for it.

So, yeah, I created one. imf_fanfic is my last ditch hope for creating interest in the fandom. I'm not that great a writer myself (I don't practice enough) but I'm gonna try to post some stuff and maybe create some interest. It's my first community, but I'm putting it together the way I like my fanfiction communities, with lots of descriptive tags users can use to search for a specific type of story, or stories about a specific character or pairing. The communities that organize by author kind of annoy me, to be honest, because authors don't always write the same kind of stories or about the same character, and I can always visit a person's journal to find a full collection of their stuff. So my tags are very descriptive. But they'll be no use if no one posts anything =(

Anyway, check out my Mission Impossible fanfiction community if you can, post something, get the ball rolling, because I really want this to work out. So your mission, should you choose to accept it, is to write some kick ass Ghost Protocol fanfiction and post it to imf_fanfic for everyone to appreciate, especially me.

recommending, imf, communities, commenting, rambling
