an update
I can't believe that it's been over ten years since I opened this account.
To those of you who have followed me through various phases and social media accounts -- thank you.
Thank you for sticking with me as I traverse this crazy perplexing world and re-evaluate my own life and how I want to impact the lives of people around me. You may not realize it, but you have followed me through my darkest days and been a reliable companion. I can't thank you all enough for providing me with a safe place to escape from the world and build myself back up to face it again.
This post will be public for the benefit of those who may not have LJ accounts but follow my writing as my ff.net and AO3 profiles both link back here.
I have achieved a goal I have long been working towards and am currently in the midst of my last semester of didactics for medical school (yes, now I can finally write about my poor med students and describe their pain in excruciating detail). This also means that I shouldn't be on LJ at all and should be studying for boards but we make our choices and live with our mistakes.
That does not mean I have abandoned my works. As I have mentioned in previous posts, all my current works have an end. There is an outline for each fic that I open up every few weeks and stare at before guilt sets in and I close the document. Perhaps when my brain becomes fatigued from studying and guilt finally stops gnawing away at me, I will find inner peace by writing, the way I have always done in years past. The following have definitive conclusions and will be finished:
I am also in the middle of writing original fiction. I have several plot bunnies I've been kicking around for years and I think I'm ready to give them life. I plan to upload them to both fictionpress and wattpad. Here's a brief synopsis of each:
