watching XF: I Want to Believe
For what is probably only the third or fourth time, which is ridiculous given the number of times I've watched the first movie (for a while during my teenage years I'd put it on at night, stay awake until the almost-kiss in the hallway, and then fall asleep until the big noisy snow mobile shows up in Antarctica).
The second movie is so dark and twitchy (and Billy Connolly is *fab* as Father Tom) and M&S are so.damn.pretty (after the beard goes, I mean). This is making me want to rewatch the whole series again, but every time I start season one I get impatient with all the developments that have yet to come, and frustrated with the all the 'shippiness that I thought was in the show, but was really only in my head and in fic.
And on top of all of that I'm not sure I can rewatch the whole baby story line play out again. C'mon, TPTB, that's just not what would happen. Not at all.
