rainy day

Feb 02, 2012 16:30

Since yesterday but that’s fine with me. I prefer cold days.

My stomach has been rebelling against me since yesterday and today’s the only time I actually felt normal. But I’m being cautious since I still feel a little pain. At least I can eat without feeling the need to run to the bathroom. Most likely a side effect from my current medication.

I hate for my amoebiasis to return because having simultaneous bowel movement and vomiting is not fun. Or the fact that I get sick the instant I put food in my mouth is not cool. Eating is one of the few things I love, I hate that to be taken away from me.

I was trying to finish my assignment in Environmental Chemistry but I  was having trouble concentrating thanks to my stomach. Although it was ironic that I had done more yesterday, where my condition was at its worst.

On the bright side I am losing weight. I’m still big for my height but I’m not as big as I was a year ago. Quitting work was one of the best decisions I had ever done even if it has some setbacks. My blood sugar has gone back to normal and as for my recent tests, everything is normal now. My cholesterol is normal and my control on my blood sugar is now within range.

How I wish I could slap my laboratory results to the university doctor who disqualified me from becoming an instructor.

Thank you once again to the tenipuri comm for sharing episode 5 and what caught my interest was the last part when the coach announced that Echizen and Tooyama were automatically disqualified on their respective matches since they didn’t show up (they were too busy playing against Tokugawa and Oni). The manga did not show the reactions of their respective teams, but the anime did. Tezuka was his usual he broke the rules so he should pay mode even if Kikumaru was becoming emotional.

What I love was Shiraishi’s reaction. When it was being announced that Tooyama was kicked out of the match, he looked so sad. Later on he was clenching his bandaged fist and looked worse (and pissed too).

But…WHY DIDN’T THEY SHOW THE MATCH BETWEEN SANADA AND YUKIMURA?! I would have loved to see that.

And good thing Shin POT manga was updated. I finally saw Atobe and Niou as doubles partners. Which to be honest is a weird combination. I have never really seen Atobe play doubles before so this is new and Niou…wow looks like he’s moving up the ranks. I mean sure he has to turn into Tezuka but well…

And this most likely explained how they ended up pairing together (care of mangafox):

My question is why did Atobe chose Niou of all people? He could have chosen other players but he chose Niou. What’s more surprising was the fact Niou agreed.

I find it surprising because I wrote a scenario (more of a description to be honest) on how Atobe and Niou worked together. In this story, Atobe was an editor-in-chief in a magazine while Niou’s a model. Occasionally they would work together as having Niou model Atobe’s magazine ends up generating more sales.

And then I see this.

Interesting development.
