Hey, don't feel bad, everyone make these basic mistakes. one of my ancient history lectures alwyas give a basic lesson on grammer after an essay, as there would alwyas be people who had mind blanks and make mistakes. and i've done a simialr thing with contractions too, you are not meant to use it but sometime I jsut forgot about that, and if i am lucky then i notice taht in the last moment.
I seriously don't think you should react so severelly-ie.not writing your fan fiction. Besides, if you wish to improve then you have to write even more. the crime would be to give up, it is not a crime if you continue to write.
I told myself last night that I should not be hard on myself. Aloud, with Clovis present but he hardly cared as he was trying to take apart my mattress.
People are bound to make mistakes and nobody's perfect. I was told by the same boss that I am a good writer because if I'm not I would not have been hired in the first place.
I got another barrage of feedback from my other boss and this was worse because he seemed to be angry (and that made me mad too). Earlier I said I already fixed the errors I had in my articles and he said my articles are interesting but I need to be more careful. Last night he said my content is good but my titles are not.
I do admit I suck at titles. Even in my fics I had trouble writing titles for them.
You're right I should not stop writing since that's not going to help me at all.
