Brief Television Post
I have watched neither Bones nor Supernatural yet. I am planning on watching Bones first, because they've been hyping this episode since forever, and I am totes psyched about it. 100th episode yay!
There are spoilers in this next section, and I am not cutting them for a reason.
I am not looking forward to watching Supernatural. In fact, I'm kind of at the point where I want to stop watching it again. I've seen enough spoilers to know that this episode features the Whore of Babylon, and that the Whore of Babylon is female, and that is enough to make me certain that the Show is going to have another fucking misogyny!fail and I'm going to get pissed. And I actually just read the TWoP recaplet, and yes, given how much misogyny!fail exists just in the paragraph-long recap, I'm not going to watch the episode. Fuck you, SPN. I really, really want to see what happens with the end of your apocalypse. It would be great if you could stop sucking long enough for me to do so.
Aaaand I just saw that the episode apparently features Dean saying "On a good day, you get to kill a whore." Which pretty much means I'm going to stop watching the show for good, instead of for just this episode. This is me, signing off on being an SPN fan. I'm not putting up with this sort of hateful, demeaning language any more.
