Last night,
of_polyhymnia,
beautiful_rain_ and I had a fun an exciting girls' night out, with convenient extra credit for English class, that involved pizza and gelato on the Downtown Mall, and then going to see The Libertine, which, while not a great movie, was at least fairly decent, and did involve some spectacular acting on the part of Johnny Depp, for which I could quite easily envision him winning an Oscar, particularly given the Academy's recent penchant for giving awards to beautiful people who make themselves appear ugly.
In a moment of deep strangeness, the movie theater was giving out free samples of the material used to make contact lenses.
And today, for being a rather short morning, was remarkably eventful. I went to visit my Austen/Bronte professor from last semester to get my major forms signed, conveniently got a paper back - which I apparently got a B on - and a number of compliments and some good advice. She is really one of the sweetest people I have ever met. :-)
And then Mike and I got made fun of in Alderman Cafe for a public display of affection, which was a novel and actually kind of fun experience for me.
