Okay, so, things that aren't related to Biggles. They may be related to Who though.

1. Have been listening to the Gallifrey audio-dramas. I'm rather enjoying these from the sheer fan-glee perspective (Mary Tamm!! Yay!!! Multiple Romana stories!!!!), though I have the feeling that some of things which are confusing me a little about the plot aren't

Ah, I did not get the Torvald-is-Andred until they specifically revealed it, at which point it was so dramatic I almost fell off the treadmill! I am not always smart about these things, heh.

I do take the Free Time bit for him as related to being married to Leela, but I can't articulate it well since it's been too long since I listened to that series, sorry. But your thoughts are good. Very interesting. For me mainly I ship Romana/Leela quite a lot, but after the nothingness that was Andred and Leela on the telly I suddenly fell very hard for the doomed romance in the first two series, and so I was engaged in that part of the narrative very strongly. So possibly it all worked from me cos I was shipping so much, and it was one of the few times that angsty romance actually broke my heart. ;)

I could barely listen to the part with the broken man, ugh. It was AWFUL. I mean, well done, but too well done, so just awful.

I really need to listen to S3 for the Brax, but it was getting too convoluted for me and also, no more Leela/Andred-Torvald. Pathetic, that's me!
