It's that time again
Second semester of my second year of veterinary school began today. I have been struggling to stay awake, mainly because I have slept like shit the last two nights, but I made it through.
In all, I think this promises to be a very interesting semester. Today's lectures were on the Alimentary System, Opthalmology, Neurology, and Nutrition. I also had an opthalmology lab. Tomorrow we begin Endocrinology. On Friday we add Pharmacology to the mix (ugh--our second semester of pharm), Zoonotic Disease and Food Hygiene, and on Tuesday, I start my focused Problems in Internal Medicine elective.
We are supposedly going to see 1-2" of snow overnight. I'll believe it when I see it. Tonight's agenda is to study opthalmology and endocrinology, take a nice, long, hot, bath, and get some fricking sleep. Maybe I'll add a glass of wine to the agenda to help that last item along.
