I managed an entire 2 hours of sleep last night. Thus I am going to expect a C on my pharmacology exam, because I honestly don't even know what I answered. It was not my intention to go sleepless before an exam, but my body had other ideas. I was so tired after the test, I skipped General Pathology to come home and nap. I stayed in my bed in a dark room for an hour and a half, and still could NOT sleep.
I took Mary to her Primary Care Doctor this afternoon. She is in another cycle of sleeping all the time. I'm talking she takes a 4 hour nap EVERY day after school, and is next to impossible to wake to do homework and eat dinner. The doctor rechecked her potassium and serum ferritin, since she is needing to take large amounts of supplements to keep those levels WNL. She admits she is stumped, so she is trying to get her in with an endocrinologist after her birthday. No sense in seeing one before then (December 27th) because she turns 18 and would have to start over with a new one.
Anyway, I am going to take it easy this evening and try to get to bed at a reasonable hour. I have a wildlife necropsy lab in the morning. Should I take the raccoon or the bear?
