i'm not sure i'm exactly awake right now. i seem to be perpetually tired because i always go to bed too late on workdays and then pack my weekends too much with stuff. yes.
the people next door own children. they make noise. as i try to take a nap. but it could be worse. it could be construction.
the 'little boy' exhibit of japanese pop art at the japan society is pretty fucking sweet. beth and i went today. go see it. it really does a great job of explaining japanese post-nuclear visual culture.
the 'experience germany' exhibit at grand central is awesome too. ian and went yesterday and got free chocolates and tasted some german alcohol. baderjager is bad. rieslings are good. and beer is always good.
we went out for drinks with lev and john and ariele after. ian and i hadn't seen lev in a year. it's amazing how things don't change. like "oh it's been a whole year" but people are still the same. it's also funny how we can all relate to different stories of traveling around europe, even though john has never studied abroad. the life of nyu kids, i tell you.
also, why do all my friends seem to have such a shitty time in amsterdam? i thought it was so awesome i went a second time. *sigh*
