"Hello? Is there anybody out there..? Can Anybody Hear Me..?"

My podcast is very much a labor of love, and I'm extremely glad to be able to do it.  ..But there seems to be a distinct chasm between my enthusiasm for it and the actual level of its audience reception.  I may just be putting the cart before the horse and stressing over a show that's too "young" to make any real judgments yet, but lately I can't help but wonder:  Should I keep trying to put out episodes?  Should I keep trying to produce a show that nobody's really listening to?  Is there something I've done wrong, or are there things I can do to improve the show's numbers..?

I've made places for the show on Facebook, MySpace, Twitter and beyond, have been gabbing to friends and family about it for two years now, but the show just doesn't seem to be getting heard.  So, I'd love some feedback on the podcast, and to gauge just how much of an audience I actually have.

(And no worries about offending me, here!  I put the questions below up for a reason, w/no bitterness or sour-grapes included. :)  This is all about constructive criticism, so don't be afraid to answer honestly.  The simple fact of the matter is that I may love putting this podcast together, but I won't keep working for myriad hours to produce it if nobody but me is actually listening.  Ya know? ;)  But if people are perking an ear and I can do things to improve my "growing baby," then I'm elated to keep it running. ^_^)

So saying, here's a 10-question poll, and I look forward to the answers.  (Even if it's a resounding "don't make this your day job, kid."  ;)  I'd rather know now and stop wasting my time and effort, than keep putting out shows and being hurt because it seems no one is listening. :))

Therefore, on we go w/the poll!
