Okay, so I'm bored, right? Surfing the net, randomly googling things.
Then I google Doctor Who, and discover a few disconcerting things.
Firstly, I have had exams in The Library. As in, 'Silence in the Library'. I swear, I have sat some kind of paper (chemistry, maybe) EXACTLY where the tardis is standing. I almost didn't recognise the place. There are lots of pictures of tigers and naked people on the walls, but they've relit it so you can't see them.
Then I find that the same place (Brangwyn Hall, which I walk past every day to get to uni) has also been used in Torchwood: Children of Earth as some kind of government headquarters (I don't know why I didn't recognise it, the doors are really distinctive).
Also, that if there's a scene in Doctor Who involving tropical plants, it's probably filmed in Plantasia (which I always thought was a garden centre, not some kind of Welsh Eden Project).
BUT, most disconcerting of all:
In 'Smith and Jones', most of the interior that is not hospital specific (and some of it that is) was filmed in SWANSEA UNIVERSITY LIBRARY. As in, MY LIBRARY, where I go to print stuff out and photocopy things. I kid you not, the monsters march across the surface of the moon, through the automatic doors. I had to watch it twice, thinking, "What have they done with all the books and the post-grads?"
