So I turn my back for five minutes and sign up for one Big Bang, resigned to the fact that
boxofmagic will never return, then two more pop up in its place!
The rundown:
merlinbb_rpf: signed up to this one, with a proper killa story idea that I am well excited about writing, even though I am slightly dubious as to the how. Fully commited, all systems go, FAB Tracy Island and all that jazz.
paperlegends: oh, but from the ashes of
boxofmagic, a phoenix arrives. Wish I could enter this one, but the thought of writing 40,000 words in three-ish months is too much. Especially for me. And I don't have a plot that I am burning like vindaloo to write. So I'm cheerleading instead. Yay yay whoop! Nearly beta-ed, but decided to be sensible and realistic for once.
BUT THEN,
jemzamia dropped a coconut flavoured bombshell in the form of:
whizzbangpop: a babybear!sized big bang with a target of 10,000 words and a minimum of 3,500. WHY OH WHY DID I NOT WAIT BUT ONE WEEK?! THIS IS MUCH MORE MY BALL PARK. NO PUNS PLEASE.
*sob*
However, the sign-ups for babybear!sized big bang go on until the end of may. I've decided that if I come up with a plot and have written at least 5000 words of exam-distracting RPF by then, I will allow myself to enter.
Dissuade me, dissuade me.
Upside? Shiny new icon!
