*******************************************

Jealousy is not a green eyed monster. No. Jealousy is a drunk redhead with fire in her eyes.

Mark has just robbed Callie of another kiss and this time, he didn't even need the mistletoe. He asked her for one and she provided it.

Addison isn't quite sure why she's so jealous, but she is. And what's worse, is, she's not sure of whom she's jealous anymore.

At any rate, she's glad they're back in her hotel room and out of the Seattle grace Christmas party she was so graciously invited to, even though she resides in a completely different state now.

Quickly knocking back a shot of rum and coming back with a grimace, she refills her glass, and two others, before carrying them all back into the living room. She's glad she opted for the bigger suite. She likes her bedroom and her living room to be two separate entities. And if that makes her a spoiled brat, so be it.

"Please stop making out--" She tells the drunken pair before toeing off her shoes and handing each their respective glasses.

"We're not making out," Callie assures Addison, mirroring the redhead's actions by kicking off her own heels as she sips her drink, then smacks her lips together.

"You look--really good, Cal..." Addison tells her. Sounding modestly enough like she's making a simple observation, rather than blatantly checking out her friend. "How did you lose all the baby weight so quickly?" Addison adds instantly, hoping it will make it more convincing.

"We worked out like crazy." Mark answer for her.

Addison smiles. She can't believe two of the most important people in her life made a baby together. And they did it well, as far as she's concerned. She couldn't manage to put the beautiful baby girl down earlier that day. "You worked out together?" She can’t help but sound a little jealous. She feels a little left tout of the equation.

"Yoga and running." Callie pipes up now. She's got her back turned to them as she begins to work the radio in the corner of the room.

Addison tries not stare at her bare legs and the figure that the fitted dress she wears doesn’t hide but at all.

"So, because Christmas is coming up, people just assume that all we want to hear is Christmas music?" Callie grumbles, before settling on an oldies station.

The Delfonics begins to play and she turns around with a smile. "Much better."

Before Addison knows what's hit her, Mark has draped around her waist and has taken her glass from her, only to hand it over to Callie before he begins to move expertly with the music, "Come on, Red, loosen up. Don't act like you've never done this before."

Addison snorts a laugh, then manages to gently fall against Mark, allowing him to lead her around the room in gentle sways. She realizes that she misses his smell. She doesn't know what that means. But she does.

he hums against her ear. Softly. She smiles and leans against his shoulder. As they turn, she faces Callie, who is looking at her with a smile against the edge of her glass. As if thinking something she doesn't want to say, she laughs quietly, then averts her gaze away.

She's beautiful. Addison wonders if she's noticed this before.

"I need another drink--" Mark says against Addison's ear. She closes her eyes. For just a second, as he swiftly pecks her cheek and again, she loses her pace once she's handed over to Callie, "--keep her dancing, Torres."

Callie holds her easily in her arms. She also smells great.

Callie smiles, all teeth.

Addison blushes.

"What?" Callie asks.

"Nothing--" The redhead lies, then readjusts their position. She places both of Callie's hands on her shoulders and braces her hips, "--I want to lead."

"This feels like eight grade all over again--" Callie says dryly, then laughs, "--this is how you dance with girls?"

"I don't usually," Addison replies with a glare, then, feeling brave, circles her arms tighter around the brunette's waist, bringing their bodies closer. "Better?" She asks in a whisper.

Callie seems to almost gulp as she nods, then replies, "Yeah."

Addison's breath hitches, but before things get too real, the song changes. Smokey Robinson. "I need a drink." She says, and almost runs into Mark, who is returning with a drink of his own. She redirects her body instead, "Never mind, I have to pee."

In the bathroom, she lets the sink water run. She can practically hear Callie yelling at her, telling her to leave some for the fish. But she needs a distraction. And the gentle constant rhythm of the water streaming against the marble sink, allows he breathing to return to normal.

She looks in the mirror, and notes her chest is slightly flushed. She winces. Her mind wanders for a bit. Images of her kissing Mark. Kissing Callie. Mark kissing Callie.

The idea of a threesome had never seemed this desirable to Addison. Never. She wonders now if she would even go through with it once she started. She shakes her head and glares at her reflection, "You're fucking crazy, Addison." Quickly, she shuts the faucet and turns back to the door, shutting the light off as she goes.

Back in the living room, Mark playfully dips Callie and she laughs as she comes back up.

They both lack the grace with which they swayed earlier, in favor of being ridiculous and Addison finds this endearing.

Heaving a sigh, the redhead announces to her guests, "Let's make a snowman."

*****

The snow is crunchy under their shoes and the three find equal balance against each other as they waddle with linked arms through slopes of snow covered park hills.

Addison feels a little like she's in one of those great black and white, French films her mother used to watch.

"This is ridiculous--" Mark grunts, then shivers, "--it's freezing..."

"It's fun." Addison replies. She shivers too, because fuck it--magical as snow may be, it's still cold as a motherfucker. It's making Addison's buzz fade.

"'We should have driven," He adds.

Callie sighs at Addison's other arm and says the following statement, as if she's speaking to a small child, "We're drunk, Mark."

"We should have stayed indoors then." He mumbles back.

"Look!" Callie points.

Addison watches as the younger woman trots off as best she can in heels. Past the swing set in the middle of the kids playground, she disappears down a small hill.

"So, Arizona didn't stick around after all, huh?" Addison asks Mark, still hanging on her arm as they continue to walk in an attempt to catch up to Callie.

Mark replies quickly, "No. It's just us."

"When are you going to tell her you love her, Mark?"

Mark smiles to himself briefly and Addison looks up at him when she feels the familiar pressure of his stare on her.

"When are you?" He counters.

Addison's cheeks redden almost instantly and averts her gaze in favor to stare ahead as they quickly approach the other woman. "Hey!" Addison calls out, slowly tearing herself away from Mark.

What they come to find when they reach full view of the small valley bellow them, renders them all speechless. A collection of snowmen stand guard, scattered around a frozen lake. Moonlight serves as the perfect spotlight and the trio look on at the different clothing accessories adorning the different sized snowmen.

"Wow..." The redhead sighs and looks upon the see the same way a child would. She's suddenly filled with the holiday spirit she's been lacking lately.

"I can practically hear the sleigh bells..." Mark says, then calls out to Callie, "...we should bring Sofia here,"

Callie turns and nods, before waving them over, "Come on." Carefully, she slides over the ice.

The other two follow, gingerly stepping over the same slippery path Callie has.

There are a good thirty snowmen scattered about and they slide and run through and about them for a few minutes, taking in all the different little touches that lend each character their personality.

Hats and scarves and raisins dotting out smiley faces.

Addison wonders if she will ever be able to enjoy little things such as these without thinking of children and how badly she wants them.

Before she an dwell too deeply into the thought, however, she hears, "Marco..." She turns in one direction and sees nothing, smiling, she turns at the sound of shoes against ice in the opposite direction and hears Mark retort, "--Polo..."

"Marco." Addison jumps in, bracing herself on a particularly impressive snowman, standing at just about her height, to look around it.

"--Polo." Mark replies somewhere in the distance.

"Marco--" She tries again, this time, stepping around a  few more snowmen, catching a glimpse of dark hair disappear behind one of them.

"Polo..." Callie replies softly.

Smiling wickedly, Addison proceeds as quietly as possible.

"Marco!" Mark calls a little louder now.

Addison is greeted by a smiling Callie. She can't help but smile back. Without thinking, as she's tired of doing just that, she strides forward and wraps one arm around Callie's waist as she crushes their lips together in a kiss that takes no more than a second to becomes responsive.

Callie holds onto Addison's shoulders carefully as they both stumble a bit on the ice, but sighs as the kiss rapidly consumes them.

Without warning, Addison pulls away, smiling a satisfied grin as she slowly backs up and calls out to Mark, "Polo!"

The last thing she hears is Callie's soft chuckle before the redhead turns back towards the snowmen maze.

Addison feels good now. She feels energized. She feels like she hasn't felt in too long. She feels like playing.

On their way back to her room, she makes the decision to extend her stay in Seattle. To see where things go from here. Whether she envisions something happening with Callie or Mark isn't clear. But she knows she wants to find out.

She also decides that Sofia needs a puppy. Yes. She definitely needs to stay long enough to get her puppy.
