Honestly, in the back of my mind, I've really been expecting this. I think Funky and I mentioned it a few times in convos on this board. Her drastically reduced airtime, this random custody thing, her complete silence with regards to the show... UGH!
Right I would have a meltdown lol. Not too happy with her lately but I would not cope well lol. At least she didn't die. Hopefully it's just some time off instead of never returning. But that just makes Calzona non existent.
They did Sara and Callie such a disservice this season. I feel like maybe this decision was made towards the middle/end and that's why her story was so poorly written.
That sounds about right, they had to hustle out some stuff before the end but this was so poorly executed. It just feels wrong that they wrote Callie out like that. It just didn't have that finality behind it. Maybe that was their point, to leave the door open for her to come back, but either way, this season sucked.
Thats what i said in the episode discussion post. I think the decision was made in the middle of the season, amd thats why they had to scramble to get something together. It could because of the crap sl callie had at the beginning with penny. She was bound to see in the media amd from fans how disliked penny was. Maybe she thought its time to go at that point if thats how my character is going to go. The worst thing is its arizona who once again sacraficed for callies happiness. Callies exit wasnt honourable in my opinion. They didnt do alot to let callie regain fans respect before she left. They have let her leave with the cheap victory amd thats what bugs me. And i know it was for the drama but they should have just let callie win then or arizona do what she did in the finale before the verdict was made. It was wrong to drag it out til the end and end it the way they did

No custody fight. Arizona legally adopted Sofia. Callie's family have no legal leg to stand on as far as Sofia goes.
