LJ Comment Viewing Issue

As you're probably all aware, we can't see comments in discussion threads at the moment. It's super annoying, especially when there are so many things to talk about! :(
I wanted to let you know that I sent a message to LJ Support last night and heard back from them today. They said the issue is affecting long comment threads in journals and communities that use the Flexible Squares or Nebula display styles - which we do. The bug has been reported and a fix is being created. They were not able to give me a timeline for when they thought it would be done, but they are working on it.
Changing the theme of the comm is an option, but I'm not sure if it's worth it at this point since this seems to be a temporary issue. However, if this continues much longer, I am willing to try it. In the meantime, there are a couple of ways to work arond this issue: there's the suggestion jenrind made in this post (thanks, Jenrind!!), and also, if you go to any comm post and check the box all the way at the top of the page that says "view in own style," you'll be able to view the comm in the style of your own personal LiveJournal. Assuming you have a style that's not experiencing this bug, it should work.
