I echo your sentiments. Regardless of what we all think or want, this is being set up for us to sympathize with Arizona and for many people to like her again. I've heard, unlikeable, unwatchable, and selfish and a lot of other adjectives used to describe Arizona. I never saw those, those are likely folks who are not vested in the two characters as we are. This is the moment where Arizona, hopefully, accepts what Callie has told her, and she does move on to being good on her own. Dr. Herman started it, even told her, try being alone for a while. Callie actually did this as we can see in the time jump. I think facing this (by AZ seeing Callie kiss someone) is a "grown-up" moment for them both. Either one or both will avoid this, but hopefully, the awkward situation will be addressed. Like you said, we know of the close call with Leah, sleeping with Lauren in the hospital. But AZ has never had to face someone Callie is interested in or dating or whatever, in this case kiss. The kiss was kinda hot. Sorry. I agree, while the kiss was hot, the two have no chemistry. AZ and Lauren's kiss was passionate, but to me, no chemistry. I don't think it's Shonda though, she's said more than once that she does not dictate their love scenes. It's what he actresses choose to do, how they choose to bring that relationship to life. Season 6 had good Calzona love scenes, but after that, they seemed like overly friendly roommates with the chemistry to be so much more. I expect the conversation to be Callie stumbling through, but Arizona saying she understands and hopefully, being adult about it--then they may avoid each other. I'm speculating like everyone else, although, I kind hope it plays out this way. Callie actually deserves to have this moment. Arizona is hitting her stride, now Callie's esteem needs to be built and someone or people taking interest just might do it for her. Resulting in them being independent of each other, becoming more mature in understanding each other, then realization that they love each other and they find their way by to each other. Although, their kisses are a bit elementary, they still mean something because they have so much chemistry. So, although she kissed someone else, I don't think it amounts to much. Nothing will amount to anything because she still loves Arizona. I also think she'll date, probably even have sex. I don't think they'll show a lot of that though because the Calzona fans don't want to see too much Callie with someone else. I see this plot as going somewhere good. That is all.

Arizona raises and loves the result of Callie being interested in someone else everyday for the rest of her life.
