So this nanny service works for another doctor at the hospital as well? Am I understanding that correctly? maybe this is something both Meredith and Callie (as the leads) are confronting. Another parallel.

Maybe. Or maybe Callie used it back in season 9 when Arizona was in the hospital and she was still a full-time surgeon operating on Derek's hand and trying to save her wife's leg.

We've seen Callie and Arizona discuss their plethora of babysitters before. Remember? Callie couldn't remember their names, "Unibrow" etc. so to have one of them upset about needing a nanny now would be stupid.

Plus it seems like Callie & Arizona live in a very family-friendly neighborhood where they'd have potentially several sitters at their disposal. Whereas Meredith & Derek live in the woods with nobody around them for miles (that's the reason Mer took Zola to her old house for trick-or-treating).

So it's Meredith, breaking down because she is now her mother, leaving kids with someone else while she works and becomes the sun.

Maggie and Meredith could have a moment to continue the love / who are you relationship they're in.

Amelia is relieved because kids overwhelm her (assuming she is still living at the house). She may have moved by now.

Got it.

How about one minor tweak to add a comedic touch: - have the soon to be nanny work out of Alex' house because it's in the city vs. in the middle of nowhere.

Kidding, just kidding!

I like the comic relief addition!

Or Bailey. Ben was in L.A. and she would've been alone with Tuck and maybe needed help?

Maybe it's April. She could just be preparing for when the baby gets there, and the crying could be hormone related.

Just a thought because the Dr. says they don't actually know what they need help with.

Yep that could work.
