Oh, sweet baby Jesus. If only we could have had this. I think I could have lived with this. Especially if it was as gorgeous as you've written it.

I mean, I'm fine with babygate and all, but this, this would have been perfect.

Well, if we had this, then we wouldn't have Callie and Arizona on Grey's, or we would have soundstage Africa scenes for the next three seasons, lol.

i would like this as a grey's spin-off...the writers could've done this instead of off the map (i know, not a spin-off, but still we wouldn't need a show about docs in the jungle in south america if we had calzona in africa)

I guess we would get the hot at home and the hidden longing looks at work, but man. Watching this in detail would depress me.

i am particularly fond of this passage...
"She picked up the dialect even faster than Arizona, which led to her teasingly singing the praises of being raised bilingual at work and led to Arizona singing the praises of the many talents of her tongue later at home."

This was really great :) this whole non-baby!fic side of you is very creative and awesome (that said, please don't ever stop writing the little babies...).

Lol. That passage. I'm glad you enjoyed it! A little silly, the tiniest bit dirty. It was fun to write.

I love that my non-baby!fic side still writes so very much about babies. :P And no, the babies are not being neglected, I promise.

Wow, this was really nice and unexpected. I always thought if they went to Africa together it would be the start of a long line of disasters. It was nice to see that it could have worked out. And Arizona becoming baby crazy, I totally loved that! The notes were cute. Just really nicely done. :D

"Unexpected", hee. Sometimes I have to keep everyone on their toes.

I almost made it a long line of disasters, but my little heart believes they can make it through anything. Also, I thought it would be interesting to show it ultimately working out, after many sacrifices. Also, I wanted to address the homosexuality in Malawi thing.
