Well, Here's the thing.
Scott is at work in Columbus on a 24 hour shift in Clinton Township Fire Department (that's in Columbus). This is my first glimps into being a firefighters wife. Quit honestly, I've spent most of the day worrying. He's gonna be off at 8 AM, so I have like...7 more hours. I trust Scott as a fire fighter because the guy knows his stuff. I just don't trust the fire....nor do i trust Columbus. I almost called my brither's house b/c he lives in that township, but then i thought...that's stupid. lol. he's not gonna tell me anything..and even if there was a fire or something, i DEF. wouldn't wanna know b/.c then i'd be even worse off...but seriously, i hopes he gets to go on a good run b/c he's not been on a good run for a while. (luckily for those in our community, but the guys are bored at the fd, lol)
I really love Scott.,,,because I was thinking...when you aren't sure where your heart is, look at where your mind goes when it wanders off...
I miss him but not ina pathetic girlfriend way. I just know that he's doing what he loves to do..and i'm sitting here waiting for him to come home. MAybe it is a pathtic girlfriend thing...but it would bedifferent if i hadn't seen aldder 40 24423452345 times...and if his profession was like...working in subway.lol. i just hate columbus. I'm proud of him though. He's got a lot of heart and a lot of drive to be the best fighter he can be...and it's not easy folks. Believe me..i put the gear on as you can see in my piucture..and i was bitchin' the whole time about how the helmet hurt my head..and how heavy the boots were and how you couldn't move in the gear. Those guys freakin battle it out with fire in em..i can't even imagine.
He found out about a fire position in S. Carolina, close to where Jordan is...so i'm happy about that. I guess all you need is the 240, and that is what he is, so he's gonna get some stuff printed off about that. It's kinda excited. but i'll believe it when i get the south carolina liscense.lol.
I can't wait for vacation. It's gonna be so much with his family....becuase we'll be together, but we'll have our alone time too, and we just have a blast together. I'm happy about it.
I went to the doctor on Monday because I'm switching Dr's. It's TOO hard to get into dr Johnston and he acts like he has no clue what medicine is even about. I'm going to mom's dr...who i thought would be really kinda old..but he's hot. He reminds me of scott's cousin Jason. But he's bult JUST like scott. it's hot. (because you know, my baby IS hot)
Well, monday night, we went to the FD b/c i had to pay John my cell phone bill. He put a heart monitor on Scott b/c he's been complaining of chest pains. And after they were done with him (they didn't really see anyhting) John put it on me....and found something wrong with my heart pattern...and ran the tape off to give to my doctor and told me to call first thing tuesday. So that's what i did and i have to call back tomorrow for my appointment time b/c i was at work and couldn't get back to them. But they sounded concerned...esp since i keep having pains under my left breast. John said that that is where women get the pains when somethings wrong, so we'll see. hopefully nothing is wrong.
I got the hotel and everything set for Saturday. i'm dragging scott along to our percussion thing. It's an over-nighter..so it's either i stay with boys...or scott goes..which is nice b/c we are gonna stay in a nicer hotel and have a lil get away. It'll be a nice reward for me being a good wife during his 24 hour shift.
I bought some things I'm gonna mail to Destiny tomorrow. I'm taking Rhett to a movie on Friday b.c it's his birthday on Saturday. He's turning 11. He's growing up. I guess he had to get glasses, i'm not sutprised tho, we all have glasses too, it was jsut a matter of time.
I think ya'll are caught up. CArrie and Matthew and Jake are in Disney world in Flordia, so that's excited. They seemed to be having a good tiem, tho the heat is gettin to CArrie. I'm glad she's not going back to school this quarter. she's gonna need all the time off she can get.
I love you all, i'll write more often so it's not so over whelming. I'd write more often, but i'm never home!!!
