Hi Callie, I'm really enjoying the picspams that you ladies put up. Are you the one that puts the finishing touches on the pics? I love the lighting on the pics. I was wondering how you did that? If you don't mind my asking.
Yes...that is me that does the caps to give them that glowy look.
Question...do you have photoshop? I'm not sure if my technique is transferable to other programs. I have photoshop cs3 although it doesn't matter if you have a older program.
I will be more than happy to share the trick. Actually a really good person to hook up with is a wonderful and dear friend of mine badbadpixie. she is the one who helped me prefect the technique. She is very generous and willing to share her knowledge of graphic and icon tricks. Far more knowledgeable than me.
As I said, more than happy to share it with you. I've had several requests from people about it and so I did a post which you can find here. If you have any more questions, just drop me a line. I hope it is useful for you.
Thank you...Callie for being so helpful. I don't have Photoshop...just have a program I downloaded from on-line. I found your post, not sure if it will work on my program...but definitely going to give it a try.
Thank you so much for sharing and for the information!
Looking forward to Season 4 pics of the wonderful and gorgeous Brian Kinney.
Another thought is to upload the photoshop program. (the one that they offer for you to use free for like 30 days. Just to try it out, see if you like it. I have a photoshop ebook (photshop for dummies) that I can download and send you. It is just wonderful and I learn so much from it when I was first starting out and didn't know a damn thing.
If you do decide to do that and like the program, then I can help you get the it for....ssh...(free).
Omg...Callie you are awesome! I've been wanting to buy photoshop for a while now, but just never could seem to save up enough money to do it. So I'm taking your advice an uploading the photoshop program. And I'm sure i'll love it. It's gotta be way better than the program I have right now. I tried to mess around with the program I have right now and every time I do, i just get discouraged. But maybe it's just because I don't know what I'm doing
( ... )
I would go to the photoshop website. I'm pretty sure you can find a link for their trial version for CS3 which is there newest program.
Here is a direct link for the downloading of the photoshop ebook. I just uploaded it at my 4share account. Photoshop for Dummies Just download it and save it on your computer. It's totally awesome and will really help you.
I seriously doubt that you are hotlinking. But just to make sure you aren't...I will direct you to this awesome article that can explain much better than I can.
Thanks,
Rose

The hotlinking article was very helpful. And I have never been guilty of it...but now I know what it is.
Now I can't wait to use my photoshop, but I'm going to have to wait until my next day off of work.
Downloaded the photoshop for dummies, and I already started reading it. Can't wait to put it to use.
Thanks again,
Rose
