(no subject)
'Kay so, I'm bored. I was all settled in my dorm ready to do nothing but read and relax and then Erik came over. Randomly. And I got all pumped and excited about hanging out and talking.
Well, then a beast of an RA came in at like 9:59 and was like, "Open house hours are over. He needs to get out." And it was weird, because she definitely followed us out. As though we were going to turn around and go right back in.
So, we went to Wal-Mart, because of a lack of something better to do. And walked around for a while. And then I learned that Erik had never had gelato before, so I decided to drag him to Paciugo, BUT they closed at 10. And it was almost 11. So, that sucked.
And then Erik decided to leave, because it was late. Which is understandable.
But, now I have all this energy. And I could go to TGIT, but it's weird going when you're not with people. And I don't think Kara, Clare, Lindsey, and Anna are up for it.
So, now, I'm bouncing around in my room doing nothing. Waiting for something exciting to happen. (Although, I'm not counting on it.)
Erik and I decided to go apartment shopping this weekend, which I think could be fun.
And I start cleaning that professor's house on Saturday, which will be neat. (Get it? Cleaning? Neat? Ha.)
My mom took me to La Madeline tonight. And that was AMAZING. I think it may be my new favorite restaurant.
I was talking to my mom and my aunt tonight, and I realized I have a ridiculous amount of school pride, it's kind of weird, but, basically, I love UD.
Oh, and I learned that my mom once owned a duck. And didn't know they could fly.
