Mahatma Ghandi once said, 'Hatred ever kills, love never dies; such is the vast difference between the two. What is obtained by love is retained for all time. What is obtained by hatred proves a burden in reality for it increases hatred.'

I wonder what the Ministry hopes to gain by this wholly irrational and cruel supression of so-called 'half breeds.' Fear is a powerful force, capable of rousing the cowardly, the weak, and the ignorant to action. Unfortunately, the only sort of action fear produces is counter productive, violent, and sporadic. I wonder that our government sees fit to indulge -- indeed, encourage -- the public's imagination. What were they hoping to gain by appealing to the hysterical...by stimulating terror-born hatred the weak and the fearful?

The modicum of percieved control that might be obtained through this legislation will doubtlessly be outweighed by its unhappy side effects. The one thing the oppressed thirst for, more than anything, is power and a sense of self-determination. Is the Ministry prepared to deal with the inevitable consequences of increased hatred and cruelty that will result from this?
