Today's Insurance/Medical Events
Called the insurance to bug them. They said that they had not received our appeal yet (I think she was just not competent enough with the computer system). However, we had received approval to see the craniomaxillofacial specialist (for my notes: 6255411).
I called the Ped, who said to go ahead and call to schedule the appointment...they're scheduling in November. So, I called the ped back (I love them, need to take in some cookies). I told the nurse they weren't scheduling until November and asked if that was ok, she said no way and said she'd have Dr. Jones call to get us in.
BTW, Dr. Beals' office (craniomaxillofacial guy) said that "he does not diagnose jaw issues, you need to see an oral surgeon first." Hopefully, Dr. Jones can take care of that too.
I will be an expert PITA by the end of this. :
