(no subject)
Carter seems to be doing better today. I called the ped yesterday afternoon after I went home to witness some of his problems. He skin was clammy and he was acting subdued. When I tried to offer a bottle, he took a few sucks and started screaming and arching his back. He was a miserable little boy. The nurse said to use a glycerin suppository (2 times max) given that he had passed a hard piece of bm the size of a peach pit.
After the suppository he got progressively better. Today he seems fine. I can't imagine how bad he felt, my poor little guy.
Today has been good. I missed my 4am pumping session and, instead, sat in bed with Carter to try and get him back to sleep. He's been waking up for good at 4 and we'd like that to extend a bit. He finally settled down with me after about 1/2 hour (he was happy and resting for that time, but not asleep). Then, we all slept until 6:15! I think DH was really happy since he's the one staying up with him at 4 (I go back to bed after pumping). DH also got a shower without worry since I got up with him at 6:15 and watched C.
Work today is still boring...I need to write a personal letter to my city council regarding the mess they've caused with our homeowner's association.
