The list of injuries Christoph has seems never ending, broken this, burned that, and collapsed this. It was good though that since waking up he hasn’t had any problems outside of his hearing and the major amount of pain he’s in. The pain in numbed with a lot of medication and that worries him. The injuries and the time needed to recover from them does seem insurmountable, but Will has every intention of staying until he can take Christoph home with him. He refuses to stay in a hotel, and even though his go-to chair is extremely uncomfortable, he's not leaving.

He's a little worried that Chris' hearing has only gotten slightly better, but that small victory is enough to keep him hopeful that he'll be back to 100%, and hopefully sooner rather than later.

Will looks up from his thoughts just in time to catch the 'I love you', and smiles softly, murmuring it right back.

With Will being by his side Christoph knows he can over come all of this. Seeing Will with him each day makes everything better and sunnier. He hates that Will isn't going to a hotel to sleep but he can't say he's unhappy. Having Will close makes him feel safe.

Communication has gotten easier, just a little. He smiles up at Will.

The more time Will spends here, the easier it is to believe that they'll be home soon, and that thought alone keeps him going, and keeps him thinking positively. So many others in this situation wouldn't be - but he doesn't want to be that person. He prefers to look to a brighter, more optimistic future.

He smiles back, and nods just slightly. "Soon, you'll be able to go home with me, and I can't wait for that."

Now he has more movement with his body and he can hold out his hand for Will to take. He nods a little. "Soon," he smiles. "I can't wait to go home..." He pulls himself up on the bed a little. He winces as his back hurts.

"Home. Just you and I. Hopefully soon - I know you want to get out of here more than I do."

Will winces in sympathy. Christoph still looks pretty bad, even if he's regained quite a bit of his range of motion. "Do you need me to call the nurse?"

Christoph nods, agreeing. He wants out of this hospital and out of this country. To be at home with Will and nothing else bothering them, but something is on his mind. When he smiles it's only half a smile back.

He looks down at himself for a moment as he fought back the pain of moving. "No...I don't think so."

"Hey, hey ... what's wrong? What's going on?"

There's no one else in the room - they can talk freely, but Will has also brought in a pen and pad of paper, in case what they talked about was too sensitive for anyone else to hear.

All he knows right now is, he's not sure that he likes that look on Chris' face.

Chris looks up at him and then back down. It takes him a moment, and he finds a good volume level.

"I'm...I'm going to be-" He looks down at himself and all the bandages. "I'm going to be very...physical scared." He has to keep his eyes away from Will.

Will nods slowly, and moves closer to the bed, reaching for Christoph's good hand, wanting him to look up. He can say the words all he wants, but he knows they won't do any sort of good, not with the way Chris is obviously feeling in this moment.

"Are you afraid that I won't ... want you? When you're better?"

He does look up. Chris knows he's not smart or anything like that. He's physically attractive and that allows him to be charming. With all the scars and marks he won't be attractive anymore and thus no longer charming. So everything Chris is won't be there anymore. His self esteem is already dropping.

He nods, looking at Will with tears in his eyes. "Yeah..."

So much ... anguish in those eyes. Will feels his heart drop to the bottom of his stomach. There's nobody else in the world that he wants, and there never will be - he just wishes there were something he could do to prove it.

"Hey ... no. Don't think that - not for one second." He offers a small smile. "I love you, okay? Nothing's going to change that. Nothing."

Chris reads every word off his lips. The tears keep coming but they're a little happier. He nods as best he can in his current state.

"Thank you, Will." He wants to lean up to kiss him. "Fuck...I love you too. So much."

Will can see Christoph struggle a bit to move, and gets the gist of why and what he was trying to do. He leans down for a quick, gentle kiss.

"You're stuck with me for a long time - believe me when I say that nothign's ever going to keep me away from you again."

The kiss is over much too soon for Chris. He whines a bit when their lips part.

"I'm glad. I want no one else by my side." He really doesn't. Even the man who raised him...he's not even as important anymore. "I need you, Will darling."

As much as Will would like to continue that kiss - this isn't exactly the most private of places to do so.

"You have me, love, for as long as you want me."

Christoph nods.

"I want you forever, darling."
