Irish Charm Verse: One night Christoph went out to a club where he met Rory (inside_thestorm) who was a dancer there. He helped the kid out a bit and got an instant connection with him. A few days later Christoph encouraged Rory to quiet his job as a dancer because of how bad of an environment it was for him. Rory quiet but he didn't get off easy, he was beaten by his boss for leaving. Christoph took him to the hospital and he''s currently recovering with a little help from Christoph.

Christoph went, not thinking he'd do anything violent. He got trapped in a riot and... things went sour. When he was eventually found he was a mess. Now he's recovering with the help of Will Jackson Vaughn (nvrbelieveagain). His hearing hasn't come back yet.

At Christoph Belfast Julian MacManus was in fact not born in Belfast, Northern Ireland. No, instead he was born out in the country on October 2, 1980 to Christopher Belfast Adam and Jackie Keelan MacManus. A few days before Christoph turned three his mother died, and his father and him moved back to Belfast. His father was tied up the political and religious problems happening in Northern Ireland at the time. All their family was born Catholic so Christopher’s professional life was carried into the home life a lot.
When Christoph turned five his father bought him his first pair of boxing gloves and started teaching him how to use them correctly. He’d spend hours outside practicing on a tree or whatever he could reach to hit. Christoph quickly fell in love with the sport but the joy of the sport was taken from him when he was nine. His father took him out to Church one day just for a visit because of how Christoph loved Father Tyler; on their way to the Church a man stopped Christopher and shot him on the street. Christoph was scared beyond belief and when the man turned the gun on him he took off as fast as he could. He ran the three miles to the Church. When he got to the Church Father Tyler was very confused by what was happening. Christoph hide under a pew for a few minutes until he passed out from blood loss. He’d been shot in the back of the leg while he was running.
Father Tyler took young Christoph in but found that the young boy feared leaving the Church too much. Realizing that this was no place to raise a child Father Tyler moved them both to California. Father Tyler left priesthood around the time Christoph turned thirteen. He realized that Christoph needed a real Father and not a religious one. Over the years they grew very close and when Christoph turned sixteen he started boxing again.
At seventeen things for Christoph got confusing and complicated. Once he graduated from high school he kind of disappeared for awhile. He’d call home to Tyler every other month for two years, but he never came home or talked much when he did. Those two years were a mix of too much alcohol and sex. At first he tried to go out with woman but it never worked with them. He’d worried about this for years and one night when he was extra drunk he had sex with a male friend of his. Christoph was so distressed over it that he went back home and talked it over with Tyler. Everything was worked out and Tyler explained that as long as he was happy he wasn’t hurting anyone. After that Christoph got back on track and started boxing again, Tyler became his personal trainer and manager.
When he turned twenty his career was just taking off. He was a good fighter but rather small. One day after a small fight he stumbled outside the club he’d fought at and stumbled right into a boy named Luka Delaware. Christoph called it love at first sight. They started dating and it only became more serious over the years. As his relationship with Luka bloomed so did his boxing career. He was winning more fights and getting better ones. Luka gave him his boxer name, Lucky Charm, after the first time they had sex. Christoph had gotten up to get them beers and Luka called after him: “You’re my luck charm” and it stuck. At twenty five he was doing damn well for himself and for Luka.
Everything was moving along well until Christoph busted his knee in a fight. Don’t ask him how he busted his knee or what happened because he may just punch you. When Luka rushed into the ring and held his hand things started getting out. The press was all over it and for a year Christoph couldn’t fight. When he was finally able again he was down at the bottom of the chain and it was hard to work back up because of his reputation as a ‘faggot’. He managed to get back up on top by twenty eight. He nearly had the title until Luka was stabbed to death in an alley way next to their favorite pub, the guys who did it made him watch. After Luka’s death he became a wild fighter and a reckless person. He was grief stricken beyond belief; he just couldn’t wrap his head around losing another person like that.
Christoph dropped out of boxing at twenty-eight years old, only two fights away from the Welterweight title. He was in a dark place for a long time after that, got addicted to pain meds and sleeping pills. Not even Tyler could bring him out of the depression. He tried overdosing a few times but every time it was just a cry for help. Tyler pulled him through over time, got him clean and helped him realize he had to go on. Tyler got him back into the ring, and back to winning fights. Some people say that he’s stronger than ever now. Christoph has many times told the public that he’s not fighting for himself now, he’s fight for Luka and all the other gay people out there who have been treated the same way he has.
