Oh thank the gods. Not that it affects the Sark in my head at all, but it's so much more fun writing him while knowing in canon he's well and alive, and globetrotting about doing mercenary deeds with grand aplomb. *squees*
Sark got the ending that I didn't even dare to hope for him. What really made it so fucking wonderful was how in the end, Sydney was asked to chase him down and try to stop his wicked plans. She had this half-exasperated, half-amused smirk on her face. The chase lives on and I'm so happy about that.
And now Sark fanfic will live on because he's still out there doing his thing.*squees with you*
It ended perfectly for me, with Sark off in the world doing bad and Sydney having to chase him down and stop him. It was full circle: back to the beginning, back to their chase, the chase that will never end just as I had hoped. :)
Sark's $500 shoes line will go down as one of my all-time favourite Alias quotes.
They'll continue to meet each other in cities around the world, fighting, taunting, making comprehensive offers that one day, one of them is going to accept.
I was surprised that Sark's shoes only cost $500. I was sure that he purchases his shoes at John Lobb and Berluti, and they definitely cost a whole lot more than $500. Sark must have been wearing his cheapo Tod's. ;)

Totally agree with all the other comments, too, that this is the one ending that I never even dreamed of or hoped for because I thought it was such a long shot.
So many fics have started to percolate since last night. I can be alone in this, can I?

::laughs:: Right. Which are perfectly appropriate for clambering about in Mongolian ruins whilst maintaining one's sense style. ;)
I'm just so happy that Sark lived to vex Sydney another day. ::squees like the pathetic fangirl she is::
