So, dinner in this house is frequently cooked by my husband, and is just as frequently awesome.
Tonight was no exception. He cut a pork loin roast into small pieces and cooked them with an onion and 3 cloves of garlic (chopped & sauteed). Then he made sweet & sour sauce. It was so incredible, I have decided it is worthy of sharing.
1/2 c soy sauce
1/2 c apple cider vinegar
1 Tbs. Cornstarch
1 tsp Ground ginger
1 tsp Garlic powder
2/3 c Brown sugar
Curry powder (1/4 tsp, maybe)
Juice from can of pineapple chunks
Stir to mix thoroughly in saucepan over medium heat. Bring to boil. Simmer to reduce a little. Serve over pork and some sauteed sweet pepper strips! Yum!
