I suppose I could get around to the Manga which has been spoiled a bit already for me, but in case you didn't know the userpic with this post is Gatz. Watched it my freshman year, loved it, each year I hope against hope they'll do more (because they like to tease).

It's pretty twisted. I loved it. Not a bad series, you should watch it through if you ever get the chance.
