I have never seen this Ryo person in anything, and I suspect my first exposure to him as a girlfriend beater is going to be interesting...

He's one of the more under the radar actors in JE in regards to the younger generation - he gets less attention than Matsujun and Yamapi (and Kame), but he's a better actor than Jin. I'd probably put him acting wise - slightly below Matsujun and Nino, probably hovering around Kame and Toma's level.

He's picked a role that Johnnies aren't usually known for - so it'll be interesting to see how far his range goes - because he does heartbroken lover quite well, and also quietly steadfast childhood friend, but out of control rageholic and doting child welfare worker? I give him props for breaking out of the Johnny-mold, at least.
