Here is my johnlock fan fiction master post. These are my all time favorite johnlock fictions so far. Pretty much all of them are multi-chapter fics. All of them are complete except for the last one (which is almost complete). They are all AMAZING in my very humble opinion. Seriously, so many talented people in the Sherlock fandom (I never get anything done in real life because I spend all my time reading this amazing stuff!). All of these pieces of work have made me fall deeply and madly in love with John and Sherlock. Read and enjoy!

Sherlock Holmes never expected to live a long life, but he never imagined that it would end like this.
The infamous all time johlock fic. It is thought that in order to be a proper johlock fan you must read this fiction. I would agree. Keep tissues at the ready.
2)A Performance in a Leading Role by, Mad_lori
Sherlock Holmes is an Oscar winner in the midst of a career slump. John Watson is an Everyman actor trapped in the rom-com ghetto. When they are cast as a gay couple in a new independent drama, will they surprise each other? Will their on-screen romance make its way into the real world?
An AU johlock fiction. I was hesitant to read this one because I thought it sounded kinda weird. Oh dear God was I wrong. IT IS SO GOOD. My favorite fan fiction of all time. You will fall in love with these two characters. I did. My heart literally aches for them. In a very good way.
3)Equilibrium by augustbird
At Baskerville, John is infected by a virus that turns him into a genius. But when the infection progresses into neurodegeneration, it's a race against time to save himself.Flowers for Algernon fusion.
Another really good one. Kind of a flip situation of Alone On The Water in which John slowly deteriorates and Sherlock must care for him.
4)Walk Through Ghosts by augustbird
The thing is: Sherlock thought that the two of them would have forever to figure it out.
Second only to Alone on The Water in relation to sadness. This fic will break your heart, but it's just too beautiful not to include. I love to see Sherlock's heartbreak every once it awhile.
5)To Poisons and Their Antidotes by thegirlinthefezin221b
Every poison has their antidote. Sherlock will meet the antidote to his poison in the most unlikely of ways.
A University AU in which a drugged Sherlock nearly runs over a medical student in his car and their lives are never the same. I really liked this one, very cool to see a young college age Sherlock and John meeting. Be sure to check out this author's one shots, they are also very good.
6)The Road Less Traveled by verityburns
Sherlock realises that John's dating habits involve an unacceptable level of risk... what if he meets an unusually tolerant woman and ends up getting married?
Oh my goodness. This one is another of my absolute favorites. This story took me on an emotional roller coaster ride that ended with me almost passing out on the couch in happiness. Read it!
7)The Heart in The Whole by verityburns
Events after The Great Game leave Sherlock dependent on his best friend and colleague. But John has a secret of his own...
So this one perhaps contains the most smut. But it's all good cause Sherlock is blind and it's awesome. :)
8)How We Navigate by last-hurrah
John's on crutches and off the rugby team. When he saves friendless school freak Sherlock from being beaten up, it's the start of a long-and complicated-friendship. High school Johnlock. Drug use, fights, family issues, sexuality, rescue, comfort, etc.
OK so this is my second favorite Johnlock fic of all time. I LOVE IT. I read it twice in a row because it was just so incredibly good. This is a high school AU, which may sound weird but it's not. This author writes John and Sherlock so incredibly perfect. I think they are the most in character in this story than any Sherlock fiction I have read. And this fiction is also very canon even though it takes place in a much younger AU their relationship is very canon but also done it such a way that a johlockian like myself was completely satisfied and happy at the end of it. Go read it, I promise you this is amazing stuff.
9)The Progress of Sherlock Holmes by ivyblossom
Sherlock is head over heels for John, but you wouldn't know it by looking at him. First-person present-tense series of short scenes from Sherlock's point of view, borrowing heavily from Arthur Conan Doyle's stories.
Oh my goodness. This writer is AMAZING. She is the master of first-person present-tense. This story is told from Sherlock's perspective and let me tell you, she does it beautifully. I mean really, getting into Sherlock's head is no small feat. But she does it perfectly. You really do feel like you are in his brain, as crazy as his brain might be. It's SO GOOD. So nice to read Sherlock's feelings for John from his POV, and the story itself is just plain awesome. Oh and don't let the fact that Mary is in it scare you. The showdown between Sherlock and Mary is the best part of the story. :)
10)The Quiet Man by ivyblossom
"Do you just carry on talking when I'm away?"
Post Reichenbach story told from John's POV. Once again this author does a phenomenal job with the first-person present-tense. Sherlock is "dead" but lives on in John's head. Oh my goodness, this story is awesome. Pure awesome. I must warn you there are parts of it that will break your heart. You will experience post-reichenbach feels all over again. But keep reading. This one is not quite finished but it will be soon. It is amazing and just do yourself a favor and read it.
