TRUTH BE TOLD, THE PRODUCTION VALUE IS ACTUALLY GREAT. IT'S A VERY PRETTY MOVIE. Which, when you are watching it for the reasons I was watching it, is really all that matters. XD
I would spoil you further but equally as truthfully I can't actually remember anything about it aside from the general plot of every single Friday the 13th movie and the likelihood that people probably die. I think Sam JP's character is looking for his missing sibling or something, though!
It's all right. You can call him Sam. He will be Sam to me through the whole movie. I tried to watch My Bloody Valentine and I had to stop because I didn't like the way Dean was behaving. :-/
I AM WATCHING IT RIGHT NOW. JP'S NAME WAS FIRST BILLED. IT'S LIKELY DOWNHILL FROM HERE AND I DO NOT CARE. XD
And ahaha the first 24 minutes of MBV the second time around (that is, last month--I don't really remember what my opinion was the first time, except "better than House of Wax"; but I do remember feeling uncomfortable because I couldn't separate JA's character in that from Dean and it was really messing with me!!) was excruciatingly embarrassing. XD But by the half hour mark I got over it and was fairly down with the movie from that point on. (Spoilers, Jake or whatever his name is isn't evil, just traumatized and mentally ill. But also a mass murderer.)
THOUGH, COUGH. I GOTTA SAY. The highlight of MBV for me was the sheriff love rival guy. He was very attractive, the poor ill-fated bastard. XD
DAMN IT ALL, I just screwed myself in this somehow. Now I want to watch it again, too. XDD Uhhhh. That may be my dinner entertainment tonight... Surely it goes well with eggplant parmesan, right?
AWWWWWW, SAM IS LOOKING FOR HIS "SISTER," "WHITNEY" IN BACKWATER USA WHILE MAKING SAM FACES. (P.S. Note to self, skip first 22 minutes of movie next time.)
