I had to pay 40 cents to use the public bathroom at the Magna Plaza (big shopping center). Weird. It was a very clean and lovely bathroom though, so that was nice.
I visited a houseboat in the Singel canal that, after a complicated history, is a charity shelter for homeless cats. The inside is less interesting; looked like any other kitty shelter. This guy purred when I talked to him:
It seems that cats rule a lot more places in Europe than in the States. :-D
I'm trying to upload a pretty evening canal picture but it's not happening -- maybe there's not enough bandwidth or something -- so perhaps pictures will have to wait til I get home.
I am sniffling and sneezing today. I hope I haven't come down with something.
I broke another pair of sunglasses. I have the worst luck with those.
