It's the day of the show, y'all
My mouth still hurts from last night's salt and vinegar potato chips. But they're so good.
So I finally joined the rest of the world and got a digital camera today, and I'm so happy! Spent more on it than I'd planned, but isn't that the way it goes? Now I'm impatiently waiting for the battery to charge because I want to play with my new toy.
We open tonight, so wish me luck. We're in great shape and I think the show will look good. It's full of 1940's standards, so I think the audience here (which is on the older side, what did you expect?) will love it. We had a pretty rocky dress rehearsal last night; stupid mistakes all over the place. And it was weird because we'd had a great run the night before that. But the old adage (bad final dress, great opening) does prove true much of the time.
I hear that the NY area is beautiful and in bloom with the cherry blossoms right now. I am genuinely sorry to be missing that. So enjoy it, those of you who are there now....
