Yes, I know I got these bandages on my face and chest, and quite fankly are hard to ignore.

No hostility, no smart remarks. I don't care.
I know you're curious. And that's okay.
None the less, I'm going to walk on.
I walk with my chin up, my shoulders back and my head held high.
I know I'm still human and
I'm still beautiful,
Even with these stigmas.
