The door leads into an office hallway--it looks something like a teacher's area in a primary school, and nothing at all like a hospital. There are drawings and photos tacked up.
"That should have led into my office," she says dryly. "Just one moment--" She sets down her end of the door and blocks open the door with a potted plant, then takes a ring of keys from her pocket and unlocks a disused office. "We took over this building from the Calvins when they built their new place over on the other side of campus," she says, chattering nervously. "We still aren't using all the space, although we keep adding staff."
