Go away anxiety I don't need you.

I am up and ready to leave in just under an hour for my race for life. I know I can do this.

I am far fitter than when I actually signed up for it. The nerve pain is totally gone allthough there is still numbness and weakness in that leg. The chronic pain is much reduced to the extent that I am not taking the Amytryptaline at all at the moment and am only taking the Zapain about every other night.

I am cycling daily, and a few weeks ago Mr Cambridge and I walked a big hill / small mountain in Wales. This will exhaust me but it is now definately within my capabilities.

So why have I woken with a pit of anxiety deep in my gut? I do wish my natural reaction to anything new or different was not an anxiety reaction. I feel weak, trembly and nauseus. There was a time when I would have mistaken the symptoms for being poorly, now I recognise it as that old acquaintence anxiety. Hopefully it will go away once I have actually started the walk.
