FIRST DAY OF SUMMER SCHOOL.
Taft wasn't as scary as I had imagined it to be. I have both my classes with my girl, Sherin, and Mr. Magnet [aka Navid]. That should be fun.

..In the car on the way home..
Mom: *lifts up my skirt, looking for my shorts*
Me: MOM!
Mom: you know, this isn't middle school anymore. these boys, they're bad. who knows? one day, one of those big 10th graders might come and lift up your skirt from behind. IT'S NOT A JOKE.
Me: *sighs, and turns to Alex in the back seat* here she goes again..
That, ladies and gentlemen, is just a normal car ride home from school. Lucky me, eh?
